The ministry of youth ANd sports has preoccupied an initiative for the event of thirteen principally games, that have the potential of success at the national level still because the international arena per the ministry.

Country’s highest establishment of sports, National Sports Council, has preoccupied more steps as per ministry’s directives and created up a close project proposal specifically planned Capability sweetening Project.

‘The ministry has created the choice to reinforce thirteen games, those have potentiality. executive agency planned a capability sweetening project when the discussion,’ executive agency secretary Masood Karim told New Age on Sunday.

‘It was determined by the ministry when a gathering with all sports federation and Bangla Desh Olympic Association. The ministry has prioritised of these games because it found potentiality of success in these games when creating a review.

‘It’s an eternal method and can be reviewed every year. the quantity of the sport is extended and born from the priority list when every year review,’ Masood additional.

When asked regarding the parameter accustomed choose the games, Masood claimed to be unaware of it and aforesaid that the games were chosen from the ministry.

The thirteen games that had been prioritised were sport, Kabaddi, Shooting, Volleyball, bodybuilding, Handball, table game, Basketball, Cycling, Swimming, Karate, Wushu and Taekwondo.

Under this project the executive agency can run a talent hunt programmes in elite nineteen district venues throughout the country– Gazipur, Gopalganj, Cox’s Bazar, Rangamati, Feni, Cumilla, Sunamganj, Netrokona, Jamalpur, Pabna, Bagura, Natore, Thakurgaon, Nilphamari, Kustia, Norail, Satkhira, Bhola and Patuakhali.
