Celebrated singer Subir Nandi has passed on to the great beyond whereas undergoing treatment in Singapore.

He was 65.

He breathed his last around 4:30am on Tuesday, his girl Falguni Nandi confirmed Prothom Alo.

Subir Nandi, conjointly Associate in Nursing Ekushey Padak winner, was earlier taken to Singapore when he had suffered a large heart failure on thirty Apr.

Before that, he had undergone treatment in Combined hospital (CMH) medical care unit for eighteen days.

His condition improved in 2 days when being taken to Singapore however later deteriorated. He survived another 3 heart attacks throughout his treatment in Singapore General Hospital.

“The singer was suffering heart failure repeatedly which worsened his condition. He had multiple organ failure further,” Samanta Lal told Prothom Alo on vi could.

He became sick aboard a train whereas travel to national capital from Moulvibazar. The physicians place him on life support later at the CMH.
