Crude bomb hurled at police wagon, feminine cop among a pair of hurt

Police van that caught fireplace as a crude bomb hurled at it in Malibagh on Sunday. Photo: Prothom AloTwo folks, together with a feminine traffic policeman, were battle-scarred during a crude bomb explosion within the capital's Malibagh space on Sunday night, reports UNB.

The battle-scarred are Rasheda Akhter pretty, 28, associate degree assistant sub-inspector of traffic police, and Lal Miah, 55, a rickshaw-puller.

Traffic sergeant Enamul Haque same miscreants threw a crude bomb at Malibagh crossing around 9:00pm once Rasheda was on duty.

As the crude bomb went off with a giant bang, a close-by police wagon caught fireplace, he said, adding that the explosion left the feminine policeman and also the rickshaw-puller battle-scarred.

Of them, Rasheda suffered injuries to her left leg whereas Lal Miah to his head, Enamul same.

They were 1st taken to Rajarbagh Police Hospital then shifted to national capital Medical school Hospital.

Rasheda same she noticed blood in her leg once a loud sound.
