BSTI cancels licences of two a lot of firms

BSTIBangladesh Standards and Testing establishment (BSTI) on weekday off licences of 2 a lot of firms for manufacturing substandard merchandise, reports UNB.

Licences of S M shoppers merchandise, Chattogram and Kiron Traders of Naogaon were off through a BSTI notice.

Besides, it suspended license of twenty five different firms.

It off the licence of seven merchandise and suspended the license of eighteen food products of various firms on weekday for the identical reason.

BSTI recently tested 406 food samples by a police work team. Among those fifty two food samples were found to be substandard and adulterate.

BSTI ordered stopping of production, supply, sale and advertisements of those merchandise among twenty four hours.

The twenty five firms that licences were suspended by BSTI are drawn butter of Baghabari Special drawn butter, Dakksin Goran national capital, flour of Nishita Foods, Sylhet, Turmeric Powder of Manjil Foods and merchandise, Sylhet, Honey of inexperienced Lands Milk merchandise, Khulna, Turmeric Powder of Shan Food, Kushtia, Salt of Madhumati Salt Industries, Khulna, alimentary paste of Jedda Food Industries, Jhalakathi, Salt of Noor Salt Industries, Jhalakathi, alimentary paste (LacchaSemai) of Amrita Food merchandise, Barishal, salt (Ayodinjukto Laban) of latest Jhalakathi Salt Mills, Jhalakathi, salt of Quality Salt Industries, Jhalakathi, salt of Lucky Salt Industries, Jhalakathi, salt of Taj Salt Industries, Jhalakathi, flavourer of Kashem Traders, Rajshahi, Turmeric power (Holudergura) of Kashem traders, Rajshahi, flavourer of Amirul Traders, Rajshahi, alimentary paste of Madhuful and merchandise, Sylhet, alimentary paste of Mithai Sweets, Chattogram, flour of K R Food Industries, Chattogram, alimentary paste of Well Food and drinkable, Chattogram, hard milk of Rupsa Food merchandise,Chattogram, biscuit of Imtiaz Bread and Food merchandise, Chattogram, alimentary paste of Misti Mela Food merchandise, Chattogram, chanachur of Taiyeba Food merchandise, Chattogram and alimentary paste of Madhuban Bread and Biscuit, Chattogram.
