Bangladesh urges Republic of India to get rid of protective tariff

Flags of Bangla desh and IndiaBangladesh commerce minister yellow jacaranda Munshi on Tuesday requested his Indian counterpart Suresh Prabhu to require necessary measures to withdraw protective tariff on Bangladeshi product as they met on the sidelines of international organisation ministerial meeting in Indian capital.
“He (Munshi) urged his counterpart to elevate the anti-dumping duties on our product as they command the meeting,” a commerce ministry interpreter told BSS within the capital of India.
He same Munshi sought-after Republic of India to import a lot of attire product from Bangla Desh and more Indian investment in Bangladesh.
Officials and business analysts in Dhaka same despite a general nontaxable access of Bangladeshi product to Republic of India, many Indian states typically impose taxes if the foreign product looked as if it would be Brobdingnagian in volume to have an effect on their native enterprises.
They same jute product and battery were samples of such Bangladeshi products to face such duties in Indian market.
A Bangla Desh commerce ministry official same the Indian minister told Munshi that Indian capital was keen to stay the momentum of the prevailing, the simplest ever relations, between the 2 countries.
“He (Prabhu) assured that he can take all necessary measures to handle the requests from Bangla Desh,” it said.
Both the ministers were in agreement to more enhance the trade and economic relations so as to learn of individuals of the 2 countries and expressed their satisfaction on the superb bilateral relations.
Munshi, a subversive himself, expressed his devout feeling for the support Republic of India extended throughout Bangladesh’s 1971 Liberation War.
