41 kids raped in eight days, Says Manusher Jonno Foundation

At least forty four kids were either raped or subjected to tried rape within the eight days between May Day and eight, in line with rights body Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF).

Of them, forty one were raped whereas there have been rape tries on 3 victims. 3 of the victims were killed once rape, MJF came up with the findings these days supported news reports of six national dailies. Of the rape victims, thirty seven were ladies and 4 were boys.

In a press statement these days, MJF expressed grave concern over the increasing range of kid rape incidents across the country.

It same incidents of violence against girls and kids became therefore frequent because of the culture of exemption.

Urging the govt. to require steps to stop violence and torture against kids, MJF same the incident of rape puts short- and long-run impact on children’s physical and mental state and on their social lives.

MJF additionally expressed their deep acknowledgment over the death of Shahinoor Akhter Tania, United Nations agency was killed once being gang raped in Kishoreganj days past.
